One of the most famous philosophical books in the second half of the 20th century was British philosopher John Langshaw Austin's posthumus work How to do things with words. (1962). I think it's about time some philosopher engages with the very worthy topic How to do things with cats.! Why not a Slovenian philosopher like Slavoj Zizek ;) :D
