Is it just me, or are pornstars getting shorter? Every once in a while, I'll see one at an event like Pride and I'm surprised by their height. (This isn't a judgment, just an observation.) While the average human height rises in the real world, it declines in the porn world.

An exception is Dakota Rivers...I saw him once and was surprised how tall (and even better looking) he was in person.

You know what they say: they seem larger on television! Tbh I'm surprised too, I thought the average height was 6 feet, and most of them fall (albeit slightly) short of that. That 'bigger than life' thing still comes across even if they're short. There's something about media that gives people such an aura. Especially if it is from an entertainment that moves you on some level. The more compelling and beloved the entertainment, the larger and grander the person becomes. To a point where it doesn't matter what 'size' they are. They pack a punch.

I remember watching a singer on stage and meeting her afterward at a signing. Three rows back, dimmed lights, glorious voice -it was like she was 50ft. tall. Later at the signing, this small, demure person comes out. And I'm thinking, "All that was you?"

Same with meeting Joni Mitchell. (Although she was much taller in her youth...) You could put her in your back pocket. Same height as me, but half my weight. Some people have presence. Be it a talent.... or looks. (Or both.) Most porn stars have such exceptional physical characteristics it doesn't matter how tall they are. One can get lost in the sheer magnetism of their presence. They have that 'it.'

And no, porn stars aren't getting shorter. They always were short. Take some of the most famous vintage porn stars and you could fit them in your pocket. Except for the cock. Are you 5'6"? If so, then you're my height... You've got my admiration for thinking the way you do, bro! :big hug: Though if it were only height, I wouldn't think so much about it. Anyway, back on topic, I think I've noticed quite a lot of actors (porn and not) actually fall in the ranges of 5'8" to 5'11". Those 6ft and above all along weren't that many IIRC.
