Admirable animals. There is a Toronto zoologist, Ann Innis Dagg, who pioneered the study of giraffes in the wild. She found out that although giraffes do not attain the high level of bonobos’ constant preoccupation with sex, they nevertheless belong to that select group of mammals noted for ardor and horniness. As she observed, when the females are disinclined or simply not forthcoming, the males indiscriminatingly get on and get relief from each other’s camaraderie.
