The cat in this pic looks very much like the cat my parents had when I was in my teens and twenties. Her name was Amanda (pure latin : "She who should be loved") and she was one of the bigger lovestories in my youth. She was born in early May 1973 and passed away in November 1992, 19½ years old; a spectacular mice hunter, a very headstrong personality and a fantastic conversationalist.
