slimjim, do you know where these people are? Is there a go fund me page? I assume granddad is on a fixed income and I would like to help this guy raise his fabulous grandson!!!

I don't have those details, sorry - I just happened on it by chance. I did a search on to see if I could establish if it was a genuine letter and I found lots of posts about it on news websites, some recent and some as far back as 2013 so I guess it was written around then? It apparently went viral after a copy was sent to the equality activist website fckh8.com who then posted it on their f.book page
Grandad might have only been in his early 50's at the time if the boy came out at 15 and his mom was in her mid 30's ?
