if someone told you: I love you! what would you say?

Depends who it was ;)

If I liked them and was single then I'd be quite happy ! I'd like to think the feeling was mutual, but it isn't always.

As for before or after, no, I prefer before ;)
 
"thank you" (one of the most horrible replies i can think of... ;))
 
It depends on circumstances....if it's mutual then the reply is " I love you too".


If it's someone you don't love but like a lot, and had always wanted to get closer to, then that's what you tell them


If it's not mutual then you have to consider the other person...you may wish to let them down gently with a tactful " I'm really flattered but....."


And if it's a crazy stalking ex-lover them maybe wave the restraining order whilst calling the police.

it is not so easy to answer,when someone loves you and you only like him.
those are two different worlds,right?
 
I say it all the time! I say it to my friends all the time, I tend to use the word loosely. If its someone I truly do care about then I will tell them in all seriousness
 
You can't truly love anyone until you've spent some time together and shared some experiences. Before that it's a great fondness verging on love, it's love in a way, but not the same as "in love" , that only happens when you really get to know somebody.

Using the word love is quite natural, we all love people, but the 2 things are different, "in love" and "love" are not the same.
 
I always say
" U only love me because u've seen me naked"

Depends on who says it and how long we've been seeing each other..don't believe in instant love..lol..
 
If he is the one whom i love, i will not hesitate to reply, I love you too. However, i will say nothing unless he is my lover.
 
I think I'd faint with joy!

I've rather given up the hope of ever hearing those words.
