Incredibly slow downloads on FileSonic?

Since Hotfile seems to be fast disappearing as a viable downloading service, I bought a premium membership on FileSonic today.

I've tried to download a number of files, and maybe in one case out of four was the download time less than an hour. In the rare case the files downloaded in about 4 minutes. They were all single scene files. Has anyone else experienced this? Is FileSonic just a sucky service?

With hotfile it never more than 5 minutes to download a file, so I don't think the problem is with my DSL service.

Yeah it is slow. But at least it is free.

Except that I bought the premium membership, so theoretically it shouldn't be so slow so often. Very frustrating. And I hesitate to contact their customer service since I'm unsure of their policy on files like most of the ones on this site!

Filesonic has been working great for me lately. Used to be dog slow, and fail prone. Now it maxes my DSL line (3Meg line)

i changed to filesonic premium a few weeks ago, and it is always superfast, and i download via jdownloader

The last download (non-premium) I did fron filesonic took almost 3 hours

Yes, filesonic is not that fast. But its free!

With the computer I'm using now it's quite slow, but it's my Internet connection the problem, with any other computer it's still going like it used to, not the best speed but a decent one...

filesonic is really slow for me too! the other sites work just fine
