An Iranian teenager has reportedly undergone fifty different surgeries, in order to look like her idol, Angelina Jolie.

19-year-old Sahar Tabar, from Tehran, has gone viral for her new looks, after admitting she ‘would do anything’ to look just like Ms Jolie.

I thought that was a mask at first! Holy crap!

My first thought was "fake/hoax", so I googled the picture and there are more of her. I still hope this will turn out to be a joke.

It's unbeliavable that the plastic surgeons had let it go that far. I mean it looks like halloween mask, and on that pre-operation photo she looks so pretty. It looks so fake, but if it's real...

I thought the first oath a doctor takes is to do "no harm"??? If this is real, than the doctor (or doctors) should have his/her license revoked! How sad!

Thanks to ihno for pointing out that this was a hoax.
Before we get too judgemental toward plastic surgeons, it's worth remembering that the technique is not just for silly vain people to waste their money on, it has very serious uses.
This medical speciality was developed during WW2 when lots of pilots were suffering horrible facial burns from cockpit fires. With the limited equipment available at the time the doctors did miraculous work rebuilding the faces of those brave young men.
