It's almost the end for Hans Glas, the small German constructor who cannot resist to his main competitor BMW. Bought by it late 1966, the make will disappear two years later.
Current today, the single over head camshaft is driven by a toothed-belt for the first time. (1963)
The last Glas 1700 had a BMW logo on the wheel trims.

Pedals and gearshift are like those of Renault 8
Japanese trucks constructor, Hino made some cars between 1953 and 1968.
The first one was the Renault 4CV manufactured under licence. The Hino Contessa body is inedit but some components come yet from Renault.
Its mechanical arrangement is close to the Renault 8 one.

Citroën 1973 : Ami 8, Ami Super, GS 1015.
Flat Twin or Flat Four ?
Above, the luxurious Ami 8 Club shown for the last time at Paris motorshow 1972. This version disappear from the catalog while the Ami Super is presented early 1973. This new model, powered by the GS 6 CV group, has six little grills on the front face. With this mix Ami/GS, Citroën try to relaunch the old range Ami without success.

At the opposite of the Ami Super, the useful break Ami 8 is a success marketing.

The Ami Super plateform derived from the Ami 8 one itself derived from the 2 CV one.
Quickly realized, the first Ami Super is tested in winter 72/73. Notice the radiator grill screen wellknown from the little Citroën owners.
