Oron questions

I was wondering if someone who has a Oron premium account could answer a few question about Oron

Oron says Premium users can download 20000 Mb within 3 days

My first question at what time does this start for example my 3 day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Would my traffic be reset on Saturday and if so what time. Also if say over 3 days I use only half of my 20000 Mb does this roll over or will I not get the 20000 Mb in till I used all my remaining traffic

i have a premium acct with them, but ive never dld 20000mb in 3 days so i cant help and im curious kevin..what in the heck are u dling thats so big?

and nope...nothing rolls over they only have so much bandwith lol

i dont do anything thats so big it was just a question to find out how it works especially if im downloading many movies at 250mb - 1GB each soon adds up

Personally I think it's rubbish.. as free user it has been telling me for over 6 weeks that I have exceeded my limit - I don't even bother looking at posts using this host, or filesonic either... they are just as bad - they have been telling me for a few months that I cannot d/l because I already am d/loading!~X(

LOL, u turned the focus directly back to the main point of the post.. thought it would drag on to be a post about soccer!! anw, i dont like alot of filehosting websites.. either they just tell you that you have reached the download limit or that they tell you that you are downloading.. (WHEN I JUST OPENED THE BROWSER!!)

Been using Oron as a free member. Lately I've been achieving 300kb/s. That is a huge improvement over what I was getting until recently of maybe 50 to 80kb/s. Today I dl'ed a 1 gig length film in about an hour from a GH link on Oron. It was split into 3 parts. Each part took about 20 minutes. I did have to manually enter the Captcha as JDownloader can't interpret the Captcha correctly yet.

There is some discussion about a new method to read the Captcha over on JD's forum. I tried the modification but was not successful.

What I find amazing is that you were even able to download three parts in one day, what with the ridiculously long wait between downloads at (M)ORON, most are lucky to get one, two at best per day. I take it you reset your IP between downloads...

Well, yes, actually JD does the reset automatically. But as I said, Oron's speed for guest users is now up to something very respectable. Used to be I didn't bother with big files on Oron 'cause they were slow. Not anymore. Oron now works as well as any host.

Also it seems Oron never loses the connection. Which is good 'cause once lost you must start the dl all over again, the dl is not renewable.
