Depends on what u r usin it for... if its for somethin like a wii remote, yeah, buy cheap ones and chuck em when ur done. If its for a camera or a wireless headphone set, yeah go ahead invest in a set of lithium metal hydride batteries and a charger...
BTW... interesting fact... did u know that after a battery seems to have run out of power, biting them (or jus compressing the middle with a pair of pliers or somethin gives them a bit more life? ... how cheap am I? lol

I used to use rechargeable batteries, but they really don't last that long. So last week I tried those extremly expensive lighium batteries from energizer. they still work so they're better than those old rechargeable ones.
