I don't know what's more shocking...the fact she said what she did, or the fact she actually won the competition, is she really the prettiest girl in Italy?

Actually it is an interesting time, which is warped by the strong moral currents resulting from the mistakes and attrocities committed, while at the same time being well doented in sound and picture. It must be enlightning to experience that time for a change not from some bird-perspective of people knowing it better in hindsight, but instead from a position on eyeline with the mess, confronted with an entirely different paradigm of thinking.

It is a highly hypothetical question, so equally hypothetical answers should be allowed.

She did not say go back in time she said live then, when Mussolini was brutalising his people and getting them involved in supporting Hitler. Have you any idea what Italy was like then? She clearly does not.

After all, she began to laugh before finishing her sentence, but not before those watching laughed themselves and blasted her for her odd choice....What's so funny with WW2? Thousands of Italian lives were lost on the Eastern Front...
