Welcome 2012, Good Riddiance 2011.

Was 2011 a good year or a bad year? What brought you down last year? What depressing baggage would you like to like to offload that you're glad is behind us?

I was in jail three times, my finances really took a nose dive, my grandmother died on Halloween, my uncle Darryl died sometime in the morning on the 31st of December (it's been quiet here at my house the past day) of a heart attack and I had more family drama than usual. However, it's now 2012. I'm at my desk watching Die Hard 2 (awesome movie btw), eating leftover hamburgers from Friday's barbeque, chomping a cigar and drinking vodka. I also have some hot tea for good measure. A nice slice of solace to start the new year!

It's just date on our calendar. Nothing will be necessarily better or worse on January 1st as it will on March 1st

The only thing certain about 2012 is that it will go as fast as 2011 and I'm hibernating during the Olympics in London

In 2011 I failed to find a job, my grandmother died, my stepdad went to prison for cutting my mom's throat, and every single thing I owned was lost somewhere between Indiana and Utah during a cross country trip and never found, I must say that 2012 will most likely be at least a small step up from 2011.
