Andrew Gold was an incredible musician - and gone much too soon. He played just about every instrument - piano, guitar, drums, bass, sax - in addition to writing and producing his songs.
Interesting note - Andrew was the son of Oscar winning film composer Ernest Gold and famed Hollywood soprano Marni Nixon. (Marni was the singing voice of Deborah Kerr in The King and I, Natalie Wood in West Side Story, and Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady.)

Couple of my friends and I actually did this song in a lip sync contest in high school. Didn't win cause I messed up a few times, but we did take "Audience Favorite" though. We got a huge standing ovation when it was done. We put on a pretty good show apparently.
