Currently reading "The Damage" by Caitlin Wahrer - fictionalised male rape case and the legal and societal implications.
 
The Martian. the movie is good, but the book is better
 
Sound System Design JBL Professional Manual
Which is vital stuff if you are interested in loudspeakers and pointless if you are not.
But what will amuse all GH members is the reference to the 1969 academic paper by CP and RE Boner. Imagine what an easy ride they had at school being known as the boner brothers.
 
"The Power of the Dog" by Thomas Savage about 2 brothers on a ranch. About the reaction of one brother after the other brother marries. Being made into a movie.
 
David Macey: "The Lives of Michel Foucault".

Possibly the best biography of French philosopher Michel Foucault (1926-1984).
 
Bernard Williams: "Shame and Necessity".

A great book on philosophy, poetry and tragedy by one of the most distinguished British philosophers in the 2nd half of the 20th century.

last completed book was RAGE (by Bob Woodward)---currently on the starting fringes of PERIL (co-authored by Bob Woodward).
 
The Secret Tunnel by James Lear

Like Murder on the Orient Express, except that all the men are hot, gay and can't stop fucking each other.
 
"Änything But Fine" by Tobias Madden (Australian author). Enjoyable
 
Alexander Trilogy - Mary Renault
