Western Slovenia Suffers Severe Flooding

Just two weeks after an ice storm wreaked havoc in western Slovenia, parts of Notranjsko region are battling with rising waters. Planinsko polje, a plain north of Postojna, has been hit the worst and the situation is expected to deteriorate over the weekend.

Rain is expected throughout the country on Saturday but it should abate by the afternoon. :whew:
