Comfortable winter today.
Yesterday we had the second of five snowstorms right in a row. None of them major.
Sunday will be number three. Around 5 inches.

We had a brief warm front come through, but it decided to get cold again, and bring in some light snow and ice. This morning it dropped to 11 degrees F. Thankfully, the apartment stays warm, but I sure don't want to get out in this weather. lol

This weekend was a pleasant (but unseasonal) 17- 19 Deg C. Thanks to the winds switching around to come from the Arctic today was just 9 and they have forecast frosty nights for the rest of the week with maximums of only 6 Deg C....... I want the weekend weather back please!

It's all gone a bit crazy here in the UK. Friday and Saturday were around 26-27 deg. C. so hotter than usual for this time of year and I was enjoying sitting in the garden slapping on the suntan lotion. Today the wind has switched round and we are getting an arctic blast so it was only 10 deg but in the strong wind it felt even colder. Weatherman says it will stay like this for the next few days - and there might even be frosts overnight.

Nearly the same here! Last week pure sunshine and today we switched from wonderful summer to rainy and cool 9 - 10° autumn again. But the warm weather will come back ... don't lose your hope!

Today was the 2nd day of a heatwave here in the UK - 28 deg C with 29 or 30 deg forecast for Friday and 32 or even 33 deg possible on Saturday!

The American east coast will be getting REAL heat next week.

Brisbane, Queensland has been "suffering" through an antarctic blast coupled with cold dry air from the south of the continent last week or so. It was down to single digits overnight - in C of course - which is considered pretty cold by usual standards. Definitely time to get out the "doona" (UK: comforter, Euro: duvet, US: quilt) and put on the heating!

Back to more typical weather now, top of 24C (75F) today, overnight will dip to 14C (57F) or so for the next few days.

A "slightly cooler" 27 deg C for me today, but cloudless skies and 33 forecast for tomorrow. The other issue is the night time lows - very hot days can be too much for many people but when it only cools to 18 overnight there is little opportunity for relief.

Today here in Berlin, the hottest day of the year: 38° C - 100,4° F. You cannot leave the house! It is as if you are walking in
a furnace! It's going to be 24°C (75.8°F) tomorrow, and there may be a storm alert!
We've had last Monday and last Thursday fierce windstorms. Over a thousand trees have been cut down, and several people have been killed or seriously hurt. And perhaps tomorrow now again????

Hello dear GH friends in general and haiducci, slimjim and Shelter in particular!!!

I know many of you in western, central and southern Europe have had and maybe still have heatwaves with 32-38 C - but that's definitely not the problem in my parts of western Sweden.

It's the 3 July today and neither June nor early July has given us the warm winds we had in late May, when we had several days with 25-28 C in the afternoon - and that's my favourite summer temperatur.

In my parts of Sweden it's a very rainy day today with not more than 9-10 C and quite windy. But I'm actually not complaining - I much rather have 10 C and rain in Malungsfors than 38 C in Berlin or 33-34 C in Maribor.
