Yeah, I know some of you will say: NOT another cheesy thread. Ah, the most wonderful time of year has rolled around again. You either love them or hate them but around this time of year you can't avoid them. Christmas songs! But now Thanksgiving is over and we can all crank the Christmas music! With no judgment!
I grew up listining to this holiday classic (HUGE Christmas fan) and I love them all really. Listening to Christmas songs brings back so many wonderful memories of my childhood and a happy feeling I can't explain. Yes, I'm talking about the classics. Sure, I mean Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You." But also older than that. ''Last Christmas'' by Wham. The older the better. ''Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree'' by Brenda Lee. :thumbs up:
I know there are so many good ones out over the years and by so many various artists, but my favorite Christmas song of all time is ''Fairytale Of New York'' by The Pogues Feat. Kirsty MacCol.
It makes you realise that there are two sides to Christmas, not everything is sweetness and joy.
I'd also like to introduce you the most funny (but kind of annoying at the same time) Christmas songs ever made. It's catchy, and a tune you'll have stuck in your head for DECADES! ''Dominick The Donkey'' by Lou Monte.
Anyone who says this isn't the catchiest Christmas song around is lying.
If you are already in the holiday spirit, let me know what your favorite Christmas song is. And don’t be embarrassed if it is Justin Bieber, everyone has a guilty pleasure!
