Why do I get this error message?

Hello folks!!!

I've just downloaded a big file from haiducii and everything looked totally normal as long as the downloading was going on, but when it was finished I got the following error message: "LV.zip couldn't be verified". (LV.zip is the file he had uploaded.)

I have had the same kind of problems the last few days with files uploaded to zippyshare, but no problems at all with unrared/unzipped files uploaded to R4pidgat0r or F1lef4ctory or with downloading Y0uTub3 videos.

The browser I'm using is Avast Secure Browser.

I would appreciate any kind of help to understand what's the problem.

If you see a security warning that tells you the file couldn't be verified, this means that your explorer doesn't recognize the site asking you to download the file.

Only download files from sites / persons that you trust.

Maybe I should also have said that the error message begun with an orange coloured shield formed sign with an exclamation mark in the center.

Well let's see if anyone else has an idea, or else I'll have a new try...

Oh, my dear friend, I know you would never hurt my computer - I was just so confused yesterday. And it also refreshed my memory that I had been getting security warnings while using other browsers than the one I'm using now & with a different look!!!

As Shakespeare could have said: All's well that ends well!!! :thumbs up:
