Bahasa Indonesia mudah dipelajari.It is easy to lean Indonesian. Here is how to annoy tourists:
At every opportunity ask "mau ke mana??" (Where are you going?) It drives them nuts, specially the Germans.

I am from London, UK, by the way, but I spend about 4 months every year in Indonesia.BTW internet is tricky in Indonesia, you need a VPN and many things are censored.
