It's above zero at last, probably about 3 to 5 degrees (or was earlier). At least it's melted some of that ice but it'll take another day or two before it's safe to walk on properly again !

-4 C pretty warm for this time of year. Had 5-6 inches of snow last night. It's still snowing slightly. Suppose to get 5 more tonight and 5 more tomorrow and more tomorrow night till Saturday afternoon.
Potentially up to 24", but I don't think so. It was suppose to drop to about -15 C but didn't get that cold.

It's currently -10 F, -24 C. When I got up this morning it was -14 F so tomorrow will be
colder. Up north and to the west it was -20 to -35 F.
It's so damn cold!!!!
When it was only -2 I threw a glass of hot water out the patio door and tried to take a picture of it. Obviously it's a little tough to throw focus and shoot at the same time. But here is the results. All the white steam on the left of the picture is the water.
If I had help, and no one could see into the back yard, I would take a hot shower, and run out
there ( with shoes on of course ) and have someone take a picture. You would only see a little of me through all the steam, it's really neat. Course you can only be out for a few seconds.
