CDU wins the state legislature election in Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia). The third election in a row which has been lost by the SPD. And the best: the Green Party (these car-haters and frog-lovers) has lost nearly 50%.
It is a wonderful day today and it was a wonderful morning and afternoon with my family together with my Mom.
Today is Mother's day - but let me say, for me there are 365 days in a year Mother's day. I hope and pray that my dear Mom will live with all of us for a very, very long time.

I'm finally back to my gardening hobby after a few years.
Spring/ summer of 14...construction crews stomping all over the yard.
15...recovering from an accident.
16...worst drought in a long time.

Cricket!! :thumbs up::thumbs up: - The ICC Champions Trophy has got underway here in UK with a win for England on the first day against Bangladesh :cheers:. 14 more matches over the next 16 days including 2 No. "needle" matches today and Sunday with lots of neighbourly rivalry between Australia & New Zealand and then India v Pakistan.

My gut feeling, and hope raying: , is that the final will end up England v Australia ..... and an England win would suit me fine
