hi,i would like to know your views on watching military personnel "performing "for the camera ,some of them may be very poor ,is it fair to take advantage of them,? some of them maybe among the thousands of dead troops in iraq or afghanistan? your views please

According to this article (from 2006) there were suspicions some of the models could be real soldiers. But these rumors weren't confirmed as far as I could understand. I think such soldiers - if they took part in porn production - would probably be released out of the army immediately.

Well, I don't watch it myself, or find it sexy; they may more likely be one of the many living foreign troops in Iraq, Pakistan, Afganistan who is out there bombing and shooting at innocent people. They are taken advantage of--first by the authoritarian, hierarchical, violent, insensitive organization they belong to, and then by porn (also by politicians, who use wars as a way of making money, winning political clout.)

Being a navy midshipman I can tell you this I am not a dumb stupid animal lol. You cant be an Officer or a Non Commisioned Officer with out a college degree. I know I know there is alot of idiots in college but they sure as hell wont be commanding a platoon I can tell you that.

I will agree that anybody who signs up for the Army or Marine Corps and picks infantry is stupid. So many of my HS friends went infantry and it just shocks and amazes me why they do that. I tell them be an officer, your ass wont be on the front lines or go enlisted intelligence but nope, they got sucked in to the I get to carry the big gun idea and killing terrorists idea.

Any ways I digress. The pay for a basic enlisted man is not so great , its just maybe $500-$700 more per month if you were getting paid at a basic min wage job. Alot of these boys join the military to get out of their poor towns where they would be making the federal min wage which i think might be $7 an hour and also to get the chance to obtain the GI BIll which allows service members when they discharge from the military to get their University tuition paid in full by the United States Military.

There is a thing called the Rainbow Chit and that is what the two brothers (both names escape me) who did a bunch of those active duty films. One of them maybe even both were discharged under the rainbow chit.

Any who I dont think they are taken advantage of when they go to work for these gay military fetish sites. If they are that dumb to do it with out knowing what it will do to their military career then they are stupid and deserve what comes their way. BTW notice you have never seen any officers in those vids, just low ranking military boys who could care less about their service.

I like watching the active duty films but I don't imagine that many are really in active duty but of they are it is there choice. They would have to be not active because if they were found out there career would be over.

I find this offensive in so many ways shonen...i was in the infantry in the army..i wont say it didn't have it probs, but what doesn't? I'm glad you found your place now..and hope you have a wonderful life but don't ever disrespect others for what they chose...especialy your fellow soldiers:no:

I think most are ex-military who need/want some extra cash. Its hard to believe they don't enjoy some of the sex stuff. They are always paired with other hot guys and they always get off. And get paid to boot. How bad or exploiting can that really be?? Just my two cents

I agree with a lot of the people above. I always assumed that most of them were not in the military or in any kind of service; I simply assumed that the two brothers who were discharged were the outliers of the military. I wonder how many active military men might be found in "straight" porn; maybe a few. Who knows.
As to the use of people in porn, due to my christian background( something I'm not too fond of), I'm stuck with my needs and the understanding. I'm not sure why, but I sure as heck wouldn't pay to watch something other than people make out . Perhaps one day a technological stand-in will exist, but for now, my desire for porn is stronger than the understanding that in the past the gay porn industry used a lot of drug addicts and now the industry is fed with either people who enjoy doing porn or are simply strapped for some cash.
But there is something we need to remember after having watched some porn, I'm sure very few of us use our higher functions while staring at a big dick, porn fulfills the fantasy craving part of ourselves and often it is simply just a fantasy.

I agree with Jsn11, I don't think many of them are active duty. I am a past member of Active Duty website but kinda bored with it, seemed like the same guys over and over. I think most of the models were active duty at one time but most didn't do this stuff until they were discharged. I do miss cute Damien, what a great bottom boi, he he.

I beg to differ, being former military myself, I can spot little subtleties that tell me when someone was or is a soldier. The attitude, language, behavior, demeanor, and even posture are all tell tale signs, just as obvious as the "U.S.M.C." tattoos...

While I doubt that many are currently "active duty", I do know for a fact that most of them are former soldiers and reservist. Several, like Kaden and Brian openly admit that they waited until they were out of the service before moving on to porn and others like Cole, did start while still in and got in deep shit for it. And still others have gotten away with it simply because it's gone unnoticed or their commanders just don't give a shit. For those unaware, the gay ban in the military allows the company commander to decide if there is enough "evidence" to court-martial a soldier for "homosexual activity", and many such commanders have been presented with proof positive (including videos of soldiers engaged in gay sex) and have chosen to ignore it rather than loose an otherwise good soldier...

And yes, I'm sure that in the past, Dink has found a civilian that was just too hot not to use, cut his hair and had him play army. But now that he has control over Amateur Straight Guys and is doing "crossover" videos between the sites, he no longer needs to do that...

But whether they are currently enlisted or former military doesn't really matter. Once a soldier, always a soldier...

I do agree that some of them are fake soldiers, but I do know some are real and were called out on it in several articles. It has always puzzled me as to how military guys can get away with performing porno on film and why would they want to put themselves out there publicly in that manner without having reservations or being cautious for being AWOL'D..lol
