I'm not into straight guys; I don't fantasize about them, and tend to avoid the porn that makes it a gimmick. Some would have it that gay men's attraction to str8 guys has everything to do with self-loathing and internalized homophobia. That is, that to certain gay ppl, the definition of a "real" man is a str8 man and-- being homosexual-- we are necessarily attracted to "real" men.

I think that such a reaction was more prevalent in the past than it is now. Gay men dislike themselves much less nowadays, compared to how they once did. For myself, these days I find stereotypical str8 male mannerisms and attitudes a complete turn off. Machismo just means that your shirt doesn't match your trousers and there are holes in your underwear.
