This suggestion applies particularly to searches for models in 'Picture Sets'. The present system suffers from the inability to search for 3 letter words and it's amazing how many, particularly Asian, names have only 3 letters. It would also aid posters in their searches to prevent double posts as each set would have a unique name.
The start point is a 'decode' list which specifies an abbreviation for every website. So, for example, you might have: Aab, AB, AlxB, etc. The full name of the site would have to be disguised or appear as a .jpg. The full searchable name then becomes, for example, Aab_Tom.
Of course, every poster would have to use the system and this might be problematic at first, but if it's made mandatory people would quickly get used to the common 'decodes' that they use.
If this suggestion meets with any sort of approval, I'd be happy to make a start on drafting a 'decode' list.
A hotkey to 'Advanced Search' might be the icing on the cake.
