Here's the deal: I love Japanese porn. There are some Japanese porn stars that I really like and look forward to each new video. There are also some Japanese porn companies that I especially like (Here the OP posted some names... in the clear... unmasked... against the rules... we cannot allow that). One problem for me is that I don't speak or understand Japanese. GoogleTranslate can help with some translations, but I can't follow dialogues and it's hard sometimes to search for information.

I've posted about this before, but it's been years. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any site, hopefully in English, that gives information about gay Japanese porn companies, films and actors. I used to follow one, it was a site in English from Japan where the guy listed every porn star he could find with photos and gave their companies. It was a great source for names, which are sometimes really hard to find in Japanese porn. The guy also would answer questions and was very helpful. But that site has gone away.

I would love something like that, a source of information that also could respond to questions I have. Ideally, I would also like to be able to ask about dialogues in videos, what they are talking about sometimes. Not a full translation, of course, but just a general idea. Mostly you can tell what they are saying, of course. I am really interested in Acceed S&M videos, which can be pretty intense, and I wonder what they are saying sometimes. Also it seems to be a thing to write on guys while they are tied up and GoogleTranslate can never make out what that script says.

I do know many gay Japanese video company websites so I can often find actors' names there and see upcoming videos. Also Freeman-Online.Net is a good source for upcoming videos. I can never find any Japanese porn stars on Twitter or Instagram either, with one or two exceptions. It would be nice to follow my favorites there. Mostly, I would really like to chat with people who have the same interests I do and hopefully know more than I.

There is definitely some Japanese porn that is unmasked. I've heard it is made for export since they can't sell it in the home country.

What I really enjoyed were those "japanese image videos" that appeared some years ago where they made videos of one beautiful model only. They were unmasked, because the models were never naked. Even though they still had their undies on, these videos were very hot. Over the years I've gotten used to the masking thing, though I think it's weird. Some studios barely mask and some go crazy with it. There are all different genres of Japanese films, many don't interest me and some seem sort of silly or repetitive, but with the right guys they can be amazing. A few studios do a fantastic job with S&M which is my favorite, but there are lots of other interesting vanilla videos as well.
I would really like to read information from people that understand the industry there, and can write English, but that probably isn't likely. A discussion forum like GayHeaven would be amazing, or even a thread here with people in the know.
I'd also like to know what people are saying sometimes. I know the action is pretty clear, but especially in S&M I would like to know what is being said, and sometimes written on the actors' bodies. GoogleTranslate sometimes helps, but it's not good with handwritten phrases and with spoken dialogue. I know it sounds like I obsess too much with these films, but I do get into them and rewatch the same ones for years.:blushing:

They mask it because showing genitals and pubic hair is illegal in Japan. The only way around it is to mask it or pixellate the 'offending' areas.
