wow i was surprised when i logged in today and saw there's a gaymer section. i'm a huge gamer so this site, so on a scale of 1 to 10, this site just went from a 12 to a 15

but anyway, are there any other hardcore gaymers here?

I am a "Hardcore Gaymer". I play World of Warcarft, Battlefield 2142 and some Games from the Command and Conquer Series and moste of them many hours a day....

Me, i'm not a frequent poster, but agreed with Randomizer, i am a serious gamer, and when i saw this just then, first time i'd ever seen it, figured it'd be new, knew i had to post ;D
I'm the same as Star020, i'm a big WoW player, non-retail, simply because i cannot be effed paying money for something i can get for free LOL.

C&C, i'm a big fan of that...

Battlefield... Ionno, for me it has it's moments, but not too much of a fan.

Also uhmm.. Who was it?... Intergritas or whatever, agreed with him, i play Neverwinter nights alot also, used to play Buldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, it's all the same stuff LOL.

Also a big fan of the Sims ofcourse, got Sims 3 when it first came out, ofcourse as always it lost it's allure quickly, but i recently got back into it, if just for a while

But my main passion is generally WoW, i'm a big WoW'er
Not as much as i used to, but that will be changing shortly coming with the new relationship status -.- Aint nothing i hate more than a break up ay?

Hmm WoW , that game destroyed my relationship. Although if I would have gotten into it I would have been able to at least recover it some how. Then again the guy was a little on the crazy side so prob a good thing he stayed with wow. Any who i dont have a special place for WoW right now.

What constitutes "hardcore gamer"? I have a 360 and PS3 and a PC that can handle pretty much anything the modern gaming industry can throw it's way (it's so exciting being able to say that after years of having to struggle with a piece of shit that could barely handle the Sims 2).

I'm playing Beyond Good & Evil now because I never got round to playing it when it first came out and I thought I'd better see what all the hype is/was about before the sequel gets released (I thought they were going to unveil actual gameplay at E3, which they didn't).

Hmm thats hard to say. I say a hardcore gamer is some one who plays everyday, and plays a wide variety of games not just one genre. I call myself a gamer but for sure not a Hardcore Gamer

although i did my share of strategy games (i still returns to MOO 2 and Alpha centauri every now and then)
i really like the Jrpg on the consoles and drooling over the thought of playing the newer ones, but i cant effort the cost of PS3 anytime soon
damn student life... why is it every time i find a new cool game to play its exams seasons again

Well I got PS3 on craigslist. I bought from some businessman who only used it once for a presentation at work. It was a 40gb but the other stuff it came with made it worth getting plust he drive can be upgraded. I saw look for a used 40gb and then go out and buy a bigger HD for it.

i am too. Im usually playing games, even when im in forums or talking by msn. At the moment im with Final Fantasy Dissidia and Star Ocean: The Last Hope [1st DVD]. Even without playing a lot of time im very good at the most of the generes: my friends dont like playing agains me cause they always lose, so they only play with me in co-op modes... and sometimes its boring. Anyone could win if tries, but if you lose once or twice and give up i guess no...

I play games from all generes but shooters, sport and driving. If the game is one of this types, i only play if is not the conventionally game. For example, i dont like shooters like Call of Duty or Medal of Honor, but i like a lot Halo, Gears of War and... Metroid Prime is not exactly a shooter... but i like it and its alike xD Driving... I dont like very much games like forza or need for speed but i play burnout and of course i play mario kart haha

And favourite games... I dunno cause i like a lot. Final fantasy, kingdom hearts, dead or alive, halo, gears of war, unreal tournament, super smash bros, zelda, fire emblem, super mario, pokemon, metroid prime, resident evil, devil may cry, ninja gaiden, okami, eternal sonata, blue dragon, star ocean....

I guess my favourites are adventure and rpg like final fantasy [not the most recent... the main people has gone and i dont like very much square-enix, i preferred square-soft] and the legend of zelda... i want a new one soooooon

Over one Year without a post???

I love my Computer an the Games on it. I paid about 2.800,- EUR for my PC. (including NVidia 3D Vision).
It´s great to walk through the sceneries of Bioshock, Stalker and Assassins Creed.
I´m into Shooters and RPG´s like Fallout3, Metro 2033, the Witcher, Oblivion, F.E.A.R., Half life and Deus Ex. (Part 3 is nearly ready to launch YEAH!!!!)

Otherwise I've played a number of rpgs, don't play as much as i used to since I got into college cause social life is more important then gaming.
