Uncut here, never even been with a cut guy actually, which is quite an acheivement. However the trend over in the UK is pretty much the opposite to the US, more uncut than cut here I believe.

Cut. Always have been, so I don't know any different and am fine with it.

I will propose to you a completely different scenario, which I believe has some truth to it, at least regionally.
Everyone I know is cut, everyone I went to school with is cut. We aren't all the same race, or religion. Therefore I think is was something pushed by the doctors and hospitals. "Oh, yes Mr. and Mrs. ... it a good idea to have it done for medical reasons."
And everyone makes a couple hundred bucks more.
Same deal when I was 5. I had my tonsils out, everyone I know had there tonsils out.
I believe every 5-10 years the medical profession decides, "hey lets teach every surgeon how to do ??? surgery, and next thing you know, everyone need that particular surgery, or medical procedure.

You might be laughing at this, but I honestly do believe there is some truth to it.
Certain doctors, clinics, or hospitals always push certain procedures.

Tom does have a point; male genital mutilation it is also a money-making tool employed by the hospitals. One suggestion I've heard is that if the practice were no longer covered by insurance, the numbers electing it would sharply drop. Thankfully I've made it to my mid-twenties with appendix, tonsils, foreskin, and wisdom teeth intact.

Oh, yea, forgot, wisdom teeth, I haven't got those either!!!
Good Lord, maybe they took my brain to, and I just don't know it!

Or with all those damn things missing, maybe they've built someone else,
and probably implanted tracking devices and mind control devices in me.
One day, they just might get tired of me, throw the switch, and BOOM
I implode!

I think here in Britain they're more likely to NOT do something. Having the NHS they're always looking to save money !

Dentists do get money for what they do, and a lot are now only taking private patients rather than NHS patients as it pays more. I did have a dentist years ago who took a wisdom tooth out and told me they'll all have to come out in time. No dentist since has told me that and I've never had a bit of trouble with them.

I am Dutch, so I am uncut.
In The Netherlands it is not a habit to cut foreskin. Jews do it because of their religion, but for the rest it has normally a medical reason (exim). Maybe a long time ago there was a social (hygienic) reason for cutting foreskin, but that reason vanished, I think. Habits have a high degree of “Parrot behaviour”. It is not for me to judge about such tings, but it would be convenient if one is able to express his own free will on such matters.
I agree with Tom that nowadays Medicine and Money have a strong connection. The Hippocratic Oath tends to become a perjury. In The Netherlands it is not unusual that medical specialists have an income from 300.000 euro’s up to 1.000.000 euro. Perhaps it is not a coincidence that both words begin with an “M”.
On the other hand you’ve got the problem that the human body is very complex machinery. It is nearly impossible to understand all processes. So medical science uses often statistics. But numbers can lead you on the wrong track.
To confer a doctor’s degree in our country you must invite and defend in public, 10 statements. One of those statements is a funny (or even nonsense) one. About 20 years ago I read a medical statement. There was a tiny village where at least a twice as normal amount of children were born. The scientist discovered that there were large numbers of Storks in that village (to avoid difficult questions we explain to little children that babies are delivered by Storks).

As a kid the foreskin was a tight but rolling it back and forth at bath time loosened it up
