I guess my hobbies and all the friends I've made here & around the world compensate a lot.

No I can't honestly say I'm lonely, but a kiss and holding hands is something special that nothing else really compensates for. Sex I don't miss, I only want it with someone I care about these days, but a lil close affection from someone is something I suppose I can get that lonely feeling about.

I just choose not to think about it too much, it happens when it happens, meanwhile just enjoy the things you have

I have my close friends around a lot or talking on the phone with them..and yet, there are those moments even with company that I do feel lonely..but that was comes with the territory when you trying to move on from grief..

I've been single for 11 years now and have adjusted well to living alone. I have my cat Bella who's a great source of unconditional love and entertainment, as well as you guys here at Heaven.

I have a close knit group of about 12 friends whom I stay in touch with on a regular basis and then a few more at the pub where I occaisionally hang out.

I wouldn't mind a little companionship, for example I love fine dining, but do not enjoy it alone or as a third. I don't go to movies alone either, just wait for the dvd and watch it here.

Like an above comment, I don't miss or crave sex as I once used too, because it is so precious to share with someone I am interested in.

All in all life is very good, but still it would be fun to say goodnight to someone, and wake them with a kiss the next morning.

Single people also without any armed service experience lack a lot.

No child support and endless contact with the X.
Memories of friends lost in battle, etc.

Still feel like a kid after many years.
Wish I could share this with those more mature than I.

Maybe queers were invented to relieve our real intellectuals from these hassles.
I'm not complaining, that's for sure.

Weird... Now that u ask I think I am, I have several friends, and they call me, drop by often... But I dont have this one group I always hang out with as I used to, and on top of that I'm single again -_- I'm not alone at all but I feel somewhat lonely now =_=
