I have dreams that are bittersweet sometimes. This morning I woke up earlier than I wanted to because I needed to take a piss. I went back to sleep and had a dream about people and places from my past but the situation wasn’t familiar understandably. It was a good period of my life. A bittersweet dream.
The odd thing about it, the reason that I am sharing this, was the realness of the people and the uneasy feeling I had during the dream that everyone seemed to know something I didn’t. The way they looked at each other knowingly and seemed to cling together around me gave me an uneasy feeling. I woke up and realized they knew I was dreaming.
They were a product of my memories so they were essentially a part of me. They/I was watching myself dreaming and it was a little like a Twilight Zone experience or an MC Escher sketching. A strange experience.
