The last 204 CC get the controversial dashboard of the new 304. It seem old-fashioned with its rectangular speedometer that is added to the gearshift behind the wheel, the interior of a real papy car!

304 CC appear in spring 1970. It is directly derived from the 304, except the back that come from the 204 CC.
504 CC and 304 CC are the only Peugeot models with the gearshift at the floor.
204 and 304 CC have some mysterious origins. From the journalist René Bellu, these cars are designed by Pininfarina and bodyworked by Chausson, from others, it is a creation 100% Peugeot.


Paris motorshow 1969 : The new 304 has one 204 habitacle, a bit just for a vehicle of this category.
As always, the 300 will have not the success of the 200.

This performing version appear in spring 1972. It will be also the saloon 304 S in autumn (model 73).

The 304 S family exhibited on the stand Peugeot at Paris motorshow 1974. It is the last for 304 S CC.

At this time appear a luxurious 504 V6 CC


The new V6 PRV 2.6 L (Peugeot-Renault-Volvo) carburettors replace the old four-cylinder injection 2 L.

On the request of numerous customers and dealerships, Peugeot relaunch the manufacture of the 504 CC four-cylinder.
504 cabriolet V6 is deleted from the catalog and the coupé V6 get some new wheels, a five speeds gearbox and the injection.


All the range 504, from 28.800 F to 61.500 F. Coupé 504 V6 remain from far the most expensive Peugeot before the 604 TI (above) powered by the same motor.

R 5 Gordini expected by Renault to replace R 12 Gordini. Only one prototype was made.


This prototype was found again by the team of Wheeler Dealers France, a TV program






Restored, it is now a true race car!

In UK R 5 Alpine is called Gordini, because it already exist a car named like it : The Chrysler-Simca 1307/1308 then Talbot 1510.

One electric motor in each wheel controled separatly. The speed difference ensure the steering of the car.


Only one joystick to control this light vehicle. However there is a safety brake controled by cables on the back wheels.
