Diff'rent Strokes star Gary Coleman dies

FORMER child actor Gary Coleman has died in hospital at the age of 42.

Coleman, who rose to fame as the wise-cracking Arnold Jackson on the American sitcom Diff’rent Strokes, had been in coma after suffering a head injury in a fall.

He died at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Centre in Provo where he was taken on Wednesday from his home in Santaquin, about 55 miles south of Salt Lake City.

Manager John Alcantar said Coleman had suffered a brain haemorrhage.

The actor is survived by his wife, Shannon Price, whom he met on the set of the movie Church Ball and married in 2007.

No, in 1988 Bridges was acquitted of attempted murder charges in the shooting of a drug dealer in L.A.
Then again in 1993 he stabbed a tenant of his in the chest with a kitchen knife after the guy attacked him with a sword over a rental dispute. The case was dismissed on grounds of self-defense...

Recently he appeared as a regular in "Everybody Hates Chris" and as the comedy commentator on "The Smoking Gun". He also appeared on Oprah (discussing his drug abuse and legal history) a month ago to the day of Gary Coleman's death...

i dont want to sound mean but my first thought was that gary coleman was better off now he had a hard life.
