Hahaha, I think it natural selection. Were the next to go like the dinosaurs. Sometime I wanna believe, but I think when we pass away it's going to be like when you were born. You don't remember things and everything is darkness. I guessed people want hope that there is a better place to go when your dead. I think the best place is now, we take life for granted. I loved everyone and enjoy living. I would like to see,do,touch,play,go places,meet people,talk to stranger,help others,feel the love and hate. These are what makes us human and to never lost hope in ourselves. We can only regret it when we get old and have no energy to do things we wanted to do. Maybe that is what God is about, living the life.

Belief is a private thing. What people find spiritual is very personal, what I dislike is organised religion and those who try & inflict their beliefs on others as though theirs is the only way!

I tried religion way back in my younger days. I have too much of an enquiring mind and it didn't work for me, I can't just take something just because somebody says it's so. & I could pick too many holes in it. I've been an aethiest ever since - yet if we try & preach that (not that I would) we are condemned, yet everywhere you go you get religions pushed in your face.

I do believe there are some powers out there & all around us, and maybe within us, that we just are not aware of or don't know how to utilise, but simplifying everything into the prescence of one all important being to me is - well too simplistic.

Ancient civilisations, before more scientific understanding, worshipped the sun, what's the difference?

That's just my opinions, I respect other's beliefs. You settle for what makes you comfortable. I won't condemn religious beliefs, unlike some who will condemn the non-believers.
