do you know your place in life?

i don't:) do you?

I'm hoping your as confused as i am:? lol

No confusion here. I am comfy with myself and my role professionally, personally and socially. I know my skills and my limitations, and I try to stay within those boundaries. So yeah, I know my place in life and am fairly happy about how things are playing out.

I'm not making as much as I think I should but I'm making more than i need to be comfortable so I'm...comfortable:)

Not a bad thing and I'd guess most people around the world would love to just be "comfortable" I'm not bragging mind you...just asking...what would it take for you to feel safe and not have to worry about simple shit??

peace buddies...

I believe I'm at that place now, simple stuff doesn't present a financial or emotional issue, and my safety (money, security, etc.) is stable and locked in for the foreseeable future. I guess we all want a bit more than we presently own, but that's human nature. I have pretty much what I need and a good deal of what I want.

I usually do know, but sometimes I get confused...

Have you tried a page marker in the book of your life;)? That's not a wisecrack really. A page marker in life can be a friend, partner, or a positive event that you can focus on to stay grounded. I have several, some of them are special friends within the BDSM community to whom I would turn if I needed guidance or just reassurance. I serve in a similar way for them and others. Several are str8 friends who are just there for me as I am for them, and not all of them are males, either. The essence of being or using a page marker friend is that they are allowed to and willing to call you out on your shit - sort of a living reality check.

...to stay grounded, that is something I find difficult sometimes, even literally. But yes, I do have those who and what can keep me grounded.

About BDSM, getting little side-tracked, I have had the chance to be handcuffed and I am still amazed how deeply it affected me. The peaceful feeling that came over me is something I have never felt before. Even my trembling and shaking (Parkinson's) calmed down because I was so relaxed

My place in life is by my dude and his place is on my dick...:p no really I am a young dad two times actually, I own businesses since I was 22, have three university degree and own houses... I am considered wealthy but these didn't come in a flash I had like many other to place priorities and at 35 I can say that I'm living well and doing pretty much what I want... coming from a wealthy family I know that when my mom and dad leave this world I'll be their heirs but there was no question for me to wait until they die to start living... so I've made my own fortune... not millionaire or billionaire and I surely don't look into becoming one. I still want to have the ability to say that a car is expensive :)

For most people who experiment with BDSM and for those who continue to explore how that particular fetish play works for them, it is the essence of surrendering total control to someone else. Once a trust level is established between Dominant and submissive, the sub can safely enjoy whatever sensations their Dominant provides. Naturally, good, clear, frank communication must take place prior to any session, with any limits or boundaries set and a safeword or safe sign agreed to, if that is needed.

Whether mild restraint is used or significant bondage is employed and physical endurance is tested by various means, the feeling of total security in the hands of a caring and loving Dominant can be overwhelming in terms of relaxation, warm fuzzy, etc. That's the part of BDSM that outsiders fail to grasp, having neither tried it nor dialogued with other participants - physical stress including sensory stimultion by pain and other means, and surrendering oneself to the moment, can indeed bring exquisite and intense pleasure.

As a Top and Dom, I have seen boyz (of all ages) almost swoon into a pleasurable sleep during some phases of our scene together, often after we have ended the intense part of play. Without getting overly graphic or descriptive out of turn, it is a massive sensual treat to see a 25 yr old dude almost purring like a tomcat, stretching out languidly and offering himself quite willingly after a session that includes hand and foot restraint, blindfolding, mouth gag, nip clips, paddling, electrostim, and hot wax. Despite what the uninformed might say or think, the activity was completely consensual and performed with conscious and ongoing attention to the sub's physical and emotional well-being.

That same dude returns eagerly at least once a month for a similar scene.

Actually, I'm not sure what my place in life, however, so far, it has taken me on quite the journey and instilled within me a lot of growth and wisdom from lessons learned.

Hope reading people's comment saying they are not confused is not stressing you out! >< Don't worry, I am confused too. lolz. And I'm not just saying it to make you feel better or anything. I'm still searching for my passion in life and my "place" so to say (heck, everyone thinks I'm straight as an arrow).

But while I'm drifting, I try to enjoy life's little rewards and don't pay too much attention to questions like where am i in life, what does life means, why do I do this, why should I do that etc. Que sera sera, what will be, will be right? :)
