The owner of the site had apparently already given up, people were just posting until the end of the time that he had paid for the site. I doubt it will ever open again, unless gustavo or someone else had access to the database of email addresses. I joined because the owner had my email address from his previous blog.

I wish he would of given his members notice and let us know what was going on. I had no idea and was utterly suprised and shocked to see it gone. I would of prepared myself and even reached out to some of the cool members to stay in contact with had I known it was going offline soon. Gees, what a waste.

I miss it too and am angry that it disappeared with no warning or explanation. I contributed twice and feel screwed (and not in the good way).

Well sometimes things happen that are beyond a persons control, like the server closing the site, maybe they had no choice.

I visited the site once a week or more; I feel really bad for Gus; he was truly a nice guy. I doubt that he knew anything about it either, because he kept posting until the day it went offline (anyone reading this who doesn't know, Gus was NOT the owner of the site but was its most prolific poster).

I can only imagine how it must feel to have done all that work & then just have it all gone one day; not unlike what happened in the aftermath of the Megaupload debacle.

I guess the site owner CAMPK finally had it. The posts pretty much dried up after the megaupload crackdown. Gus was really nice for sharing up until the end.

Gustavo probably reads here and other places. He said that he gets most of what he posts in other forums. He always managed to come up with some things that I hadn't seen elsewhere, so he must have sources of which I'm unaware, or unlimited bandwidth and many premium accounts. Also, there were no restrictions on studios, which is probably what I will miss most. That, and that he didn't use .rar files much, so you could download part of a movie instead of the whole thing. I don't know how he managed to post so much. I'm lucky if I can figure out how to post a picture, although I have mastered embedding Youtube videos here.

I'm disappointed that the site was closed with no warning. He could have at least given members notice so we could migrate elsewhere.

hi guys, sad that gaylavie closed- even i contributed twice. i sent Campxx an email and not hear back from him.
