Gimp?

Does anyone know how to use the image editing program Gimp extensively? I have a question but its kind of an advanced one. I can explain the question (its a little complicated) if there are people who know how to use this program.

I have it installed but always found it confusing, so never used it, then again I haven't really looked into it very much.

It has to do with batch editing.

search on youtube for "gimp tutorial" and u will find a lot more or less usefully videos depending from what do u want to do with it

u didn't say what do u want to do in a batch (resizing, cutting, watermarking, frames etc.)
there is a lot freeware with batch editing tools around

I've used the GIMP quite a bit, but I can't say I ever went as far as liking it.
