Let it Snow...

In my country (in my area) we get up to -20 Celsius during the winter. It`s very cold when there`s no snow. I remember a few years ago I had a driving hour (I was doing the driving school) so I went in a certain place to wait for the instructor...I tell you, my face was so frozen I couldn`t feel my cheeks...I kept pinching them but nothing.. But we never had ice storms...and I bet they`re pretty tough to handle especially when you have to go to work by car...etc.

I said my country! So it`s Romania Here during winter if it`s -2 Degrees Celsius...if it wasn`t for the moist in the air who makes you feel the cold deep in your bones, if it was adry climate like in Romania, at -2 degrees I`m going out wearing a Tshirt only

I wish it was colder here with a bit more snow... I like snow... I can't remember when we had a white christmas the last time...

All that ice is a bitch. Brings down the power lines, and tree limbs, not to mention driving or walking around.

Just frost thus far...

But around here we get rain first that freezes, then snow on top of that, followed by a nice ice storm to seal everything in...X_X

Storms hitting here now. Suppose to get much worse as the night progresses.
South of where I am is suppose to be getting hit really hard. We are anticipating 5-8 inches.

Here's the dog out playing in it. By tomorrow morning the snow will be higher than he is.

It's neat to see the snowflakes reflect the flash.

I kinda wish Charlotte had gotten some of this. Just west of here got a light dusting of snow. Charlotte got rain, then sleet, then icy drizzle.

This morning everything looked like it was sugar-dipped. By mid-morning, my yard resembled a swamp. From 10am to 2pm the cats hid under the bed...as all the ice melted from the trees and dropped on the roof!

I called my sister this morning and thought you guys got dumped on...but she said the same thing...apparently it was more west(?) in the mountains...I'm sure my nephew was disappointed...considering the alternatives I think I rather have snow than the sleet shit..lol
