Mattresses = Memory Foam or Coil Spring

I recently saw an article that pointed out the one serious flaw with memory foam mattresses.

They claimed that while memory foam provided a better nights sleep, it wasn't as useful for sex. The biggest problem seemed to be that whom ever was on the bottom just sank further down.
They also said that memory foam's lack of "bounce" compared to coil springs, meant that couples had to be much more vigorous during sex to get the same experience.

Of coarse these were straight couples that were questioned, so I have to wonder. Does this also apply to gay sex?

Why shouldn't it apply? Males may be a bit heavier. But I don't think that a matress could be that important. Why don't try it out?

Ha, ha. Modern stuff, memory foam. At my age you bother about memory sex. By the way it is of all times that the ones on the bottem sink further down than the ones on the top.

i had a Memory Foam and it was good for sex now i have a spring mattress and get less sex hmmm

I'd say memory foam are definitely more comfortable though they do retain a lot more heat. Sleeping on one of them is like sleeping on the average microwave.
I've never noticed any big differences with it really. Once you've sunk in a little bit, you've kinda got traction from where your knee/hand/foot/whatever has made an indent in the material

All this discussion about sprung mattresses being better for sex makes you wonder how the human race ever managed to propagate itself before springy mattresses were invented.

The fact is, in modern times, sex has become so associated in people's minds with beds and mattresses and jokes about noisy bedsprings that many have forgotten that this "bouncy-bouncy" kind of sex is not the only way to do it.

I havent even thought about this to be honest lmao. But lets be real, if the bed is giving you a hard time, you grab them and throw them against a wall or fuck in the shower or something. You have options!

That's part of it. People surveyed were saying that sex on the memory foam was so unsatisfying, that they now take their activities elsewhere. The bed has been downgraded to "sleeping use only"...

Personally, I never really cared to use the bed for sex. I've always felt that the sofa, and sometimes chair or ottoman was more accommodating and comfortable for sex.

Luckily, my bedroom is huge and I have room for my bedroom suite and sofa, chair, ottoman, and a VERY sturdy coffee table that's just the right height...:devil:

I've never had sex on a memory foam mattress, but for sleeping I prefer coils. I usually kick the covers down at night to stay cool, and I've found the foam mattresses feel like being wrapped in a blanket whether you want to be or not.

It figures - after all, that's what beds were designed for in the first place!

What about tigerskin rugs? They have a reputation for great sex, and they are not very springy.
