Many porn stars are now from the Czech Republic, hardly surprising as there are so many gorgeous looking guys plus I suspect so many needing some money. Doing porn is a fantasy for some, but earning a lot of money for something quite easy & quite simple is the real attraction. There will always be a market for it, and although not everyone will be a major star like Johan Paulik became, there is still money to be made.

If I had the chance to do it when I was 20, I most likely would have gone for it, and not just for the money, although making a months salary for one shoot would be great. For me it would be for the chance to live some of my sexual fantasies, and because it would be more for the sex than the money, I'd be a bit of a diva (for lack of a better word) about it. I'd only do what I wanted to and work with other models I was attracted to. I can't even imagine what "trouble" I would have gotten myself into had I had the internet, chat rooms, webcams, cell phones and every other device available these days. OMG, just to get my hands on a playgirl was a chore when I was young. But knowing me, with all these porn sites (and looking like I did then) I'm sure with the money I would have seriously considered doing something...not for long and not for the sex, but only for a quick money fix. I would have packed up and left new jersey alot sooner than I did.

I'm just guessing the range isn't much...if I was in college now the prospect of making $300-$500 bucks for just jacking off would seem like a huge payday! I'm guessing you've gotta prove pretty "popular" and have made several vids before you're even approaching $1000 for your work but that's just IMO...

Wow...

There is a serious down side. It's a formal transaction... the work becomes part of your record, substantive employers WILL access that record. Also, if you ever get into any kind of legal trouble, it could be held against you. It is no longer like the days when people just did it without ID etc., everything is logged, filed, etc. It would be a big decision, based on a real prospect of long-term career prospects. So easy to be smooth-talked into it though, by guys/business men whose only priority is making money for THEMSELVES, now AND in the long-run.
