Small suggestion.

So I don't know about most people but usually the first thing I do when I get on the forum is I go to my profile and click on statistics and click on the button to search for my threads so that way I can see which of my threads have new post (they show up in dark blue at the top of the list). So I was thinking what if we had the same link or button right on the main page at the top. You know where it says total forum post and what not. That way I can just click it right there and see if anyone has responded to any of my threads. What do you guys think useful or not???

why not just subscribe to your own threads ??

you are able to chose a range of notification types, and any new activity will report on your User CP page .. this is what i do

i dunno if i understand your problem correctly,

but thats my way:

right above:

change your THREAD DISPLAY MODE FROM OLDEST TO NEWEST FIRST
edit your forum settings here



then always the newest entries will show up first, imho thats the best setting for those who are watching the forum frequently,
the only disadvantage is that you have to read discussion threads backwards then
