I love the French cabaret singer Edith Piaf. She was raised by her mother, who eventually sent her to be raised in a whore house. Her father came back from WWII, took her in, lived in poverty. She eventually became a cabaret singer and star, then alcohol and heroin addiction. This is her at age 40 (I know!) she died at age 42...This song is "I have no regrets".....
