But I'm afraid that is not all that glitters is gold.

If the result is good news, fine.
If the result is bad news and you hear it in a clinic, then at least advice and support are immediately available.
If the result is bad news and you find out alone in your room, without any support, then what happens if you are the type to take bad news very badly indeed?
