Sous Chef, by Michael Gibney. Very informative about how professional kitchens work, but it tries too hard to be artsy and is waaaaay over-written.

Going to sound a lot less intellectual than everyone above, but...... just finished Ronan the Barbarian and just started Ronan's Rescue by James Bibby, having a good old chuckle :)

"How Music Works" by David Byrne. It's every bit as pretentious as I expect from him, but also very good.
