After a stressed-out day at work I get quite a kick from the frivolous banter of the threads on the general discussion section and, on a more serious note I get a big lift from the very positive responses/communal hugs to the more personal and emotional subjects that are raised from time to time...this is some fucking forum guys & gals!!

My cats...

I know that a lot of people think that pets show affection because they are dependent on their masters, but that's not true of cats. Cats are fiercely independent, even the best kept cat will still hunt. Cats don't need a fence or a chain to keep them at home, they come and go as they please, but they almost always come home. So what makes them come home if they have no need for us? The simple answer is unconditional love, they choose to be with us...
