I live in a city...tough parking. I had given my tenant (and friend) an onsite parking space in exchange for snow shoveling. There was a lot of parking, and very little shoveling ever since.
I ended the arrangement a while ago. Told her she could have the space till the end of June. Today was the day. Drama? Crying? End of friend?
Nope. She found a street space (somewhere), walked to the house. We had a little chat about other things. It was as good as I could have hoped.
 
Walking past the interminable queue for Wimbledon Tennis and being grateful that I'm not part of it. Sorry, tennis fans, it's one of the things in life that it better on TV, plus you don't have to be concerned with the wonderful Summer showers.
