Slovenia won the bronze medal at the World Men's Handball Championship in Paris on Saturday by taking a come-from-behind 31:30 (13:18) win against arch-rivals Croatia in the semi-finals. It was a payback win for Slovenia as the Croats defeated them four years ago in the bronze medal match at the world championships in Spain.

Congrats Slovenia!!!

As forecast a nasty storm has blown it's way across the UK today with highest winds of 94mph being recorded (and sadly a few fatalities from flying debris) - in my area it took 7 hrs for the storm to pass through and we had gusts of up to 62mph at it's peak but happily my roof tiles; fences and gates remain intact...

Look out mainland Europe as the storm is heading your wayX_X

Oh yes - our weatherforecast says that this night and tomorrow it can be rough here as well. Let us hope that the storm has los his strength in the meantime.

Wow - only wow!!! My God he must have had and guardian angel! Let us hope it will not bed so hard here tonight. Such a storm we have had here in Berlin in 2002 - where the most streets here in my district have been impassable because of fallen trees! And that storm costs 6 lives!! That is something we really are not used to.

So nonetheless I'm happy that nothing happened to you or your friends and families.
