What was your first computer?

my first computer was...

An HP Pavilion and I was 11 years old. It was 1999 and we still had dial-up lol. The only things I would do on that thing was write my school papers, play solitaire and minesweeper, and of course watch porn... lots of it lol

My first computer was an IBM XP. It must have been purchased back in the mid-80's. Boy, I sure spent a lot of hours playing "Leisure Suit Larry"! The first game came out back in 1987. Do any of you old-timers remember this game?

Zx81 way back in the day, it must have been 1981 when I was 14

My first computer was a Sinclair ZX-81. That was in 1984, followed by a Commodore VC-20, then I had a Commodore C-64 Personal Computer and a Commodore C-116.

Jesus, great times back then...

In 1997, a Compaq Presario 4840. Biggest, heaviest tower on the planet but revolutionary for me at the time.

It was a PC that I think you still needed to use DOS to do anything. LOL!!!! My current computer is a Mac.

I don't remember exactly, but it required punch cards!

Was a compaq, don’t remember anything else it was so long ago

eMachines (I think). You got a (free) PC by signing up for Compuserve internet provider. Internet was dial up of course. This was late 1990s.

Dell laptop, which I got only because I left a job that always provided me with a computer.

Dell Inspiron Lap Top. Built like a brick :>)

Must be in 1997-98...
A Pentium II with 512MB RAM, and 2.1gb HDD (or was it 1.2gb?) running Win 95, a 2.5 inch Floppy Disk Drive, a CD-ROM Drive, and a 56K dialup modem with an excruciating slow internet connection. Used Netscape Navigator at the time. Don't remember any details about the motherboard.

Early to mid 90s, Pentium with a tiny hard drive or maybe had floppy disks to boot from. Soooo long ago I don't really remember.

Technically, my first 'computer' was a calculator back when I was a kid in elementry school. As you can see above, I've forgotten how to spell the most Elementary words.

My first computer was built by local company, and I forget what year it was, but I remember it was a 66 mhz processor (intel 486 I think) with 4 gig ram. I think that was also my most expensive computer lol.

Oh and pack rat that I am, I still have my first computer, but haven't tried booting it up in years. I still worked last time I tried though lol.
