Falafels, Asda own brand. A disappointment. Better than nothing is all I can say in their favour. Won't be buying those again. Next time I will go back to Cauldron falafels, slightly more money, vastly better taste.
Lentils with diced tomatoes and spinach. It's fairly quick to put together if the lentils are precooked and I use canned tomatoes and frozen spinach. I also put in some dried onion, garlic and parmesan cheese. The addition of croutons helps to absorb excess liquid.
Tonight I made leek, cauliflower and potato soup with cream and garnished with oven cooked bacon. It's like vichyssoise only served hot and with cauliflower. Another very tasty meal.
