So I bought this off a market stall when I saw who was in it but it's been sitting under the TV for a few weeks. I took a while to get around to watching it as the basic plot didn't really leap out and grab me - a man (Kevin Spacey) is sent to a psychiatric institution as he claims to be from the planet K-PAX and is treated by a shrink (Jeff Bridges). I thought it might turn out to be long, drawn out and not that engaging.

How wrong I was... it turns out to be a wonderful gripping & enthralling movie. Spacey and Bridges are both superb as are the supporting cast and I loved the way that it tantalises the viewer with several possibilities as the story unfolds.

Definitely worth tracking down a copy and taking a look!
