God what a boring movie, couldn't understand what all the hype was about,extremely technical, for aspiring astronauts/astronaut-nerds only- Gravity was much better, it actually had a story.

Little one (2013)

Little one tells the story of a six-year-old little girl who is raped, beaten and left for dead in a field near a township in Joburg. She is found by a woman, who takes her to a hospital and then befriends the child...

The movie is basically a story about the lives of ordinary people trying to get through each day. As tough and harrowing as it is, it is ultimately a tale of love and redemption and hope. It shows how poverty and hope are still very much alive in South Africa, and truly demonstrates that ''sometimes healing comes from the most unexpected places''. What a moving film! It was relevant, gripping and inspiring! It embraced my soul. To be honest, this is one of the best non-english movies I have seen in a long time.

CENTER STAGE a dance film or better a ballet film from 2000. If you are a fan or if you only like classical and/or modern ballet, this is a film for you. Some young dancers are coming to the New York Ballet Company and here starts their fight for their dreams. We have had a great evening with this film. But if you are searching action you are totally wrong here.

Wonderful music and great dance scenes.

So it's a Micheal Mann film starring Pacino & De Niro... I mean that should be enough to get your juices flowing , but if you're still unsure what more do you need to know - that it also has Val Kilmer, Jon Voight, Tom Sizemore, Ashley Judd, Mykelti Williamson, Natalie Portman and William Fichtner in the cast... on, listen to Slimjim, you know it makes sense - I mean when have I ever let you down

In one sense this is the quintessential scene between the two - Pacino's veteran LAPD cop and De Niro's arch-criminal

CENTER STAGE 2 - Turn it up this time less classical ballet but more Hip-Hop dance with great moves. As I have said before, if you like dance/ballet films I'll strongly recommend these both films to you.
